The TROY WindPort™ is a PC adapter card that enables laptop PCs to send data across a Bluetooth wireless communications link.
The WindPort™ plugs into the PCMCIA slot on Windows compatible laptop computers. It works with Windows 98/ME/200/XP systems, and it supports most of the major Bluetooth protocols and profiles, as well as Bluetooth authentication and encryption. The WindPort™ is compatible with the Bluetooth V1.1 specification, and has agency approvals for operation in most countries.
